     993.  Harry Max7 BAREFOOT (Harry Felton6, Elam Lemon5, Samuel Ross4, Job Palmer3, Benjamin2, Samuel1) was born 25 April 1917 in Cowan, Delaware County, Indiana and died 5 May 2000 in Delaware County at age 83. He was a member of the Muncie Indiana Fire Department.

     Harry married Nelle Irene ROBINSON 18 May 1946 in Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky. Nelle died 18 April 1978.

     Known children of Harry Max7 BAREFOOT and Nelle Irene ROBINSON were:

     994.  Philip Grooms7 BAREFOOT (Harry Felton6, Elam Lemon5, Samuel Ross4, Job Palmer3, Benjamin2, Samuel1) was born 2 December 1920 in Cowan, Delaware County, Indiana and died 3 March 2006 in Indiana at age 85.  In 1941 Philip joined the National Guard and in World War II served as captain in the Army Corps of Engineers stationed in England and the Philippines. After returning from the service he began his career with A. J. Glaser Construction Co., in Muncie, Delaware County. In the 1960’s he began work as Superintendent of Shops and Construction Supervisor, Physical Plant at Ball State University, Fort Wayne, Indiana. He retired in 1980.

     Philip married Vivian May NICKLES 5 October 1942 in Cowan, Delaware County.

     Known children of Philip Grooms7 Barefoot and Vivian May Nickles were as follows:

     995.  Robert Rex7 BAREFOOT (Carl Dean6, Elam Lemon5, Samuel Ross4, Job Palmer3, Benjamin2, Samuel1) was born 20 July 1920 in Cowan, Delaware County, Indiana. He died 12 April 1967 in Muncie, Delaware County at age 46, and was buried in Elm Ridge Cemetery, Delaware County. Robert worked as an executive for the Barefoot Poultry Company.

     He married Fala Jeroldine “Jerry” THOMBURG. She was born in 1920 in Muncie and died 21 November 2006 at age 86 in Ball Memorial Hospital in that city.

     Known children of Robert Rex7 BAREFOOT and Fala Jeraldine THOMBURG were as follows:

     996.  Carlton Keith7 BAREFOOT (Carl Dean6, Elam Lemon5, Samuel Ross4, Job Palmer3, Benjamin2, Samuel1) was born 17 July 1922 in Cowan, Delaware County, Indiana. He died 5 October 1988 in Muncie, Delaware County at age 66 and was buried 7 October 1988 in Elm Ridge Cemetery, Delaware County.

     Carlton graduated from Tri-State College in Angola.  He worked as chief engineer and president of Bacon American Corporation, manufacturers of tire retreading equipment.  Carlton was also general manager of Tred X Corporation and held several patents in the tire recapping and rubber industries.  He was a Life member of Muncie Elks Lodge 245, and a member of Hazelwood Christian Church.

     Carlton married Marjorie Elizabeth FLETCHER 3 May 1946.

     Known children of Carlton Keith7 BAREFOOT and Marjorie Elizabeth FLETCHER were as follows:

             1030       i.    William Keith8 BAREFOOT married Nancy DENNIS.

             1031      ii.    Bruce Edward BAREFOOT.
