136. Harvey5 HUNT (Ralph4, Elijah3, Samuel2, Ralph1) was born 25 July 1846 in Darke County, Ohio. He married Elizabeth Haworth on 26 August 1865 in Ohio. He died of chronic mitral and aortic insufficiency 18 March 1924 in Union Township, Miami County, Ohio at age 77, and was buried 20 March 1924 in Old Ludlow Cemetery, Laura, Miami County.
Harvey married Elizabeth HAWORTH 26 August 1865 in Ohio. She was born 16 October 1846 in Darke County, Ohio, the daughter of Samuel and Rosanna (Jones) Haworth and sister to Sarah Ann J. Haworth who married Harvey's uncle Richard Hunt (see #59 above). She died 10 September 1911 of acute dilatation of the heart in Laura at age 64, and was buried 12 September 1911 in Old Ludlow Cemetery.

313 v. Horace W. HUNT was born 6 August 1873 in Miami County, Ohio, and died of a cerebral hemorrhage 29 December 1937 in Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio at age 64. He was buried 1 January 1937 in Davids Cemetery, Kettering, Montgomery County. At the time of death he was a bench machinist for General Motors. Horace married 18 August 1905 in Dayton Elizabeth J. BELLMAN., the daughter of Jacob and Rachel (Yike) Bellman, who was born 16 August 1876 in Van Buren Township, Montgomery County. The couple had a sone Ralph E. born circa 1907 in Dayton.
314 vi. Alelia Josephine HUNT, known as Josephine, was born 8 November 1875 in Laura, Miami County, Ohio. She died of valvular heart disease 21 May 1943 in Washington Township, Montgomery County, Ohio at age 67, and was buried 24 May 1943 in Davids Cemetery, Kettering, Montgomery County. On 16 June 1912 in Miami County Josephine married Roy Augustus KOHL, the son of John A. and Catherine (Ridenour) Kohl, who was born 6 December 1880 in Montgomery County. He died 14 November 1958 in that county at age 77, and was buried in Davids Cemetery. The couple had a son Ermal A., born 20 June 1913 in Montgomery County. He died 17 January 1997 in Ohio at age 83. Ermal's last known residence was West Milton, Miami County.
315 vii. Clifford Thomas HUNT was born 24 November 1877 in Miami County, Ohio. He died of uremia and generalized arteriosclerosis 30 July 1947 in Greenville, Darke County, Ohio at age 69, and was buried 2 August 1947 in Trenton Cemetery, Trenton, Butler County, Ohio. Clifford was a baker and married Emma E. LINCK 17 August 1898 in Butler County. She was the daughter of Henry and Lena Linck and was born 7 February 1875 in Trenton. Emma died of uterine cancer 24 March 1935 in Hamilton, Butler County at age 60, and was buried 28 March 1935 in Trenton Cemetery. Clifford and Emma had a son Lester H. born 19 November 1898 in Middletown, Butler County.

317 ix. Lloyd Glen HUNT was born 22 May 1887 in Miami County, Ohio. He died of adeno-carcinoma of the sigmoid 28 March 1932 in Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio at age 44, and was buried 31 March 1932 in Woodland Cemetery in Dayton. Lloyd married 9 April 1908 in Dayton Leah KLEINHAUS, the daughter of Henry and Louise Kleinhaus, who was born 9 April 1888 in Lawrenceburg, Dearborn County, Indiana. She died 18 August 1922 in Dayton at age 34. The cause of death was suicide by drowning off the Ridge Avenue bridge. Leah was buried 23 August 1922 in Willowview Cemetery, Northridge, Montgomery County. The couple had a daughter Verna born in 1909 in Dayton.
318 x. Ermal HUNT was born 11 January 1893 in Miami County, Ohio. He died of pulmonary tuberculosis 24 February 1916 in Van Buren Township, Montgomery County, Ohio at age 23, and was buried 27 February 1916 in Old Ludlow Cemetery, Laura, Miami County, Ohio.
137. Abraham J.5 HUNT (Ralph4, Elijah3, Samuel2, Ralph1) was born 6 June 1850 in Darke County, Ohio. He died 22 January 1912 in Gettysburg, Darke County at age 61, and was buried 24 January 1912 in Greenville Cemetery, Greenville, Darke County.
Abraham married first 18 September 1869 in Ohio Caroline ELLEMAN who was born 5 September 1850 in Ohio, the daughter of Owen and Rachel (McDonald) Elleman. She died 7 February 1879 in Union Township, Miami County, Ohio at age 28, and was buried in Old Ludlow Cemetery, Laura, Miami County.
On 19 February 1880 in Darke County Abraham married second Rilla Belle DERSHAM. Known as Belle, she was born circa 1857 in Ohio and died before 1900. He married last Mary Coate WILLIAMS 7 October 1900 in Miami County. Mary was married twice previously, first to Henry R. Coate 8 April 1871 in Miami County, and next to Daniel W. B. Marsh 12 March 1889 in that county. She was born 5 April 1850 in Pleasant Hill, Miami County, the daughter of John H. and Sarah (Coate) Williams. She died 25 July 1926 in Pleasant Hill at age 76, and was buried in Greenville Cemetery.

319 i. Melville M.6 HUNT was born 9 May 1872 in Union Township, Miami County, Ohio, and married Carrie M. KERLIN 2 June 1896 in Darke County, Ohio. She was born 2 December 1871 in Greenville, Darke County, the daughter of William K. and Hannah (Jeffries) Kerlin of Indiana. The couple had four children: Mary, born in March 1897 in Ohio; Hannah, born circa 1903 in Illinois; Edith, born circa 1906 in Illinois; and Wilbur E., born circa 1909 in Illinois. In the 1910 and 1920 federal censuses, the family was enumerated in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois where Melville was a merchant. By 1922 they resided in Lakewood, Cuyahoga County, Ohio and that was where Carrie died of peritonitis due to a ruptured appendix 30 November 1922 at age 50. She was buried 2 December 1922 in Greenville Cemetery in Darke County. In the 1930 census Melville, a widower, still resided in Lakewood and was supervisor of a meat packing company.

321 ii. Omer Strayer HUNT was born 23 February 1886 in Pleasant Hill, Miami County, Ohio. He married Louise OHMANSICK 7 June 1909 in Montgomery County, Ohio and the couple resided in Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana. Louise was born 5 December 1885 in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio and was the daughter of Frederick Ohmansick.

139. Phoebe Jane5 HUNT (Ralph4, Elijah3, Samuel2, Ralph1) was born 25 October 1853 in Darke County, Ohio. She died of a cerebral hemorrhage 1 August 1937 in Arcanum, Darke County at age 83, and was buried 3 August 1937 in Old Ludlow Cemetery, Laura, Miami County, Ohio.
Phoebe married Urias NETZLEY, the son of George and Catherine Ann (Coffman) Netzley, 31 December 1874. A blacksmith, he was born 25 September 1849 in Montgomery County, Ohio, and died of apoplexy 23 June 1919 in Arcanum, Darke County at age 69. Urias was buried 25 June 1919 in Old Ludlow Cemetery.

322 i. Chalmer6 NETZLEY was born 7 November 1875 in Darke County, Ohio. He died of cancer of the jaw 20 September 1948 in Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio at age 72, and was buried 23 September 1948 in Mote Cemetery, Pitsburg, Darke County. Chalmer married first 18 September 1900 in Darke County Minnie Pearl HAWORTH who was born in April 1878 in Ohio, the daughter of Oran and Caroline (Deahofe) Haworth. They had a daughter Bertha M., born circa 1901. Minnie died in 1901 in Darke County, Ohio at age 23. Chalmer married second Lena RICHTER 27 September 1902 in Darke County. Lena was born 26 January 1880 in Germany. She died 30 July 1972 in Darke County, Ohio at age 92, and was buried in Mote Cemetery.
323 ii. Wilbur NETZLEY was born 12 October 1877 in Ohio. He died 18 June 1878 in Ohio.
324 iii. Itasca Leota NETZLEY was born 19 December 1878 in Miami County, Ohio, and married William SHAFER in 1896. She died 22 September 1906 in Ohio at age 27. William was born circa 1874 in Darke County, Ohio. He died before 1900. The couple had a daughter Irene L., born in April 1898, and a son Milford, born 27 December 1899, who died in August 1971 at age 71.
325 iv. Charles W. NETZLEY was born 20 June 1886 in Laura, Miami County, Ohio, and married Opal F. MILTENBERGER 22 August 1911 in Darke County, Ohio. She was born 23 July 1890 in Arcanum, Darke County, the daughter of Frank and Emma Miltenberger. She may have died 8 June 1943 in Miami County. Charles also went by the name of Ching and was a barber with his own shop in Laura.
326 v. Mary L.B. NETZLEY was born 19 December 1893 in Laura, Miami County, Ohio, and married Edgar Roy TROXEL 3 August 1914. She died 11 February 1960 in Darke County, Ohio at age 66. Edgar was born 8 August 1888 in Darke County, the son of Milton and Talitha (Henderson) Troxel. He died 17 September 1968 in Darke County at age 80. The couple had a son Robert born circa 1917 in Ohio.
140. Theodore Stidman5 HUNT (Ralph4, Elijah3, Samuel2, Ralph1) was born 18 January 1855 in Monroe Township, Darke County, Ohio. He died 12 March 1941 of pancreatic cancer in Newberry Township, Miami County, Ohio at age 86, and was buried 15 March 1941 in Old Ludlow Cemetery, Laura, Miami County.
Theodore married Mary Ann 'Mollie' HOLSAPPLE 14 October 1882 in Darke County. She was born 10 October 1863 in Indiana and was the daughter of Samuel and Rachel (Kaufman) Holsapple. Mollie died 18 January 1917 in Franklin Township, Darke County at age 53, and was buried in Old Ludlow Cemetery.

328 ii. Opal Mae HUNT was born 12 January 1892. Circa 1912 she married Fred Earnest WESTFALL, the son of John D. and nancy B. Westfall, who was born 6 October 1893 and died in Darke County 23 November 1972 at age 79. He was buried in Miami Memorial Park, Covington, Miami County. The couple had children Gladys M., born circa 1913; Dorothy Irene, born circa 1915 who married Elvin J. HISSONG; Pauline, born circa 1918 and Mary. In 1930 Opal's widowed father lived with them in Newton Township, Miami County, Ohio.
329 iii. Israel Paul HUNT, known as Paul, was born 21 June 1897. He died 17 January 1976 in Miami County, Ohio at age 78. Paul married Helen Gertrude DREES, the daughter of George and Lulu (Brown) Drees, 31 March 1918 in Miami County. Helen was born 11 December 1900 in Covington, Miami County and died in 1973 at age 73. Paul and Helen were buried in Highland Cemetery, Covington.
330 iv. Virgil HUNT was born in 1901 and died in 1973 at age 72. He was buried in Harris Creek Cemetery, Newberry Township, Miami County, Ohio. Circa 1919 Virgil married Irene E. KERCHER who was the daughter of James M. and Minnie B. (Westfall) Kercher. Her mother was the sister of Fred E. Westfall who married Virgil's sister Opal (see #328 above). Irene was born in 1901 in Miami County. Their known children were Jimmie T. and Betty J.
141. Arlistus5 HUNT (Ralph4, Elijah3, Samuel2, Ralph1) was born 18 September 1857 in Monroe Township, Darke County, Ohio. He died 22 March 1936 in Greenville, Darke County at age 78 of pneumonia after suffering a fractured pelvis in a fall, and was buried 24 March 1936 in Old Ludlow Cemetery, Laura, Miami County, Ohio.
Arlistus married Mary Elizabeth WRIGHT 8 September 1877 in Darke County. The daughter of John and Sarah (Penny) Wright, Mary was born 6 September 1859 in Miami County, Ohio. Her brother John Wesley married Arlistus' sister Almeda Hunt (see #142 above) and her sister Hettie Elvira married Arlistus' brother Charles Hunt (see #145 below). She died of liver cancer 11 July 1934 in Greenville, Darke County, Ohio at age 74, and was buried 15 July 1934 in Old Ludlow Cemetery.

On 20 December 1905 in Montgomery County he married Hattie HEETER, the daughter of David T. and Elizabeth (Detwiler) Heeter, who was born 23 June 1884 in Montgomery County, and died there 23 June 1969 at age 85. The couple had a daughter Geneva N., born 26 October 1916 and died in Montgomery County 21 June 2006 at age 89, who married Charles William BRITTON. Charles was born 26 November 1917 and died 12 August 2011 at age 93 in Montgomery County. Raymond, Hattie, Geneva and Charles were buried in Arlington Cemetery, Clay Township, Montgomery County.
332 ii. Lowell Wright HUNT was born 30 January 1886 in Darke County, Ohio. He died 7 February 1950 in Montgomery County, Ohio at age 64, and was buried in Riverside Cemetery, Troy, Miami County, Ohio. Lowell married 14 July 1906 in Montgomery County Celia C. DUNN, the daughter of John H. and Emma E. (Boomershine) Dunn, who was born in October 1889 in that county. She died 18 March 1963 at age 73 in Montgomery County, and was buried in Riverside Cemetery. Lowell and Celia had two children. Thelma Marie Hunt was born 25 January 1907 and died 16 December 1929 in Miami County at age 22. She married 8 December 1927 in Miami County Theodore R. BEAM, the son of Milton and Ann (Gilhouse) Beam, who was born in Springfield, Clark County, Ohio. The couple had a daughter Florine and a son Cletus E. Floyd Cletus Hunt was born 23 December 1910 and died 14 September 1994 at age 83. He married 17 March 1934 in Miami County Credith M. SCHAEFER who was born 12 April 1909 in Oldham County, Texas, the daughter of Albert and Nellie Schaefer, and died 9 June 1990 in Miami County at age 81. Thelma, Floyd and Credith were buried in Riverside Cemetery.
333 iii. Russell H. HUNT was born 23 December 1888 in Ohio, and married Bonnie LUDY circa 1914 in that state. Bonnie was born in March 1895 in Darke County, Ohio, the daughter of Elmer E. and Dora B. Ludy. The couple had a son Arlistus R. who was stillborn 7 August 1917 in Troy, Miami County, Ohio. He was buried 9 August 1917 in Riverside Cemetery in Troy. They also had a son Walton. Russell was proprietor of a restaurant.
334 iv. Harold Victor HUNT was born 15 December 1890 in Miami County, Ohio, and died 6 December 1966 in Miami County, Ohio at age 75. He was buried in Forest Hill Union Cemetery, Piqua, Miami County. Circa 1915 Harold married Leila M. [–?--] who was born circa 1898 in Ohio. The couple had children Madeline E., born circa 1918; Mildred Lucille, born circa 1919; Harold Victor, Jr., born 23 September 1921 and died 13 October 2003 at age 82, who was buried in Riverside Cemetery, Troy, Miami County; a son M. Dean; and a daughter Dorthalee.
335 v. Celia M. HUNT was born 28 October 1892 in Ohio, and married John Veirly MYERS 30 January 1915 in Miami County, Ohio. She died in May 1972 in Ohio at age 79. John was born 2 September 1892 in Monroe Township, Darke County, Ohio, the son of Henry C. and Caroline (Pressler) Myers. He died 27 October 1987 in Clark County, Ohio at age 95. Celia and John had a son Sanford, born 9 April 1919 and died 29 September 2005 at age 86, who last resided in Fairborn, Greene County, Ohio; and a daughter June A.
336 vi. Sarah Elma HUNT, also known as Elma, was born 29 December 1894 in Miami County, Ohio, and died in April 1985 at age 90. Her last known address was Dalton, Whitfield County, Georgia. Elma married James C. LAVELLE 10 August 1918 in Miami County. He was born 10 February 1891 in Morley, Mecosta County, Michigan, the son of James and Ruth (Billings) Lavelle. In the 1930 federal census the couple were enumerated in Greenville, Darke County, Ohio and James was owner of a restaurant.
337 vii. Dolphus McKinley HUNT was born 2 February 1896 in Miami County, Ohio. He married first 26 May 1919 in Miami County Mary K. MORGAN who was born 20 October 1900 in Covington, Miami County, the daughter of Charles E. and Amanda Viola (Walker) Morgan. She died of tuberculosis of the throat 12 July 1925 in Troy, Miami County at age 24, and was buried 14 July 1925 in Fletcher Cemetery, Brown Township, Miami County. Dolphus married next Florence BROWN, the daughter of Norman Lester and Candis V. (Michael) Brown, who was born in 1893 and married first circa 1912 George Riley Shue, the son of Charles R. and Mina B. (Stout) Shue. Riley, as he was known, was born 30 December 1888 and died 19 October 1918 at age 30. The couple had a daughter Velma who was born and died 18 September 1914; and a son Bruce R., born 17 September 1916 and died 8 March 2012 at age 95. Florence died in 1969 at age 76 in Montgomery County. Dolphus died 15 September 1978 in Clark County, Ohio, at age 82. He and Florence, her children and first husband were buried in Parish Cemetery, Arlington, Montgomery County, Ohio.
338 viii. Charles Wesley HUNT was born 1 April 1900 in Clay Township, Montgomery County, Ohio, and died 11 February 1978 in Miami County, Ohio at age 77. He married Audrey C. GABRIEL, the daughter of Alva and Rose Emma (Moore) Gabriel, 23 December 1926 in Miami County. Audrey was born circa 1906 in Ohio, and died 11 May 1963 in Troy, Miami County. They had a son Roger.

143. James Aldus5 HUNT (Ralph4, Elijah3, Samuel2, Ralph1) was born 18 May 1865 in Monroe Township, Darke County, Ohio. He died 16 October 1945 in Los Angeles County, California at age 80.
James married first 11 September 1886 in Darke County Sarah HARMON, the daughter of Benjamin and Eliza (Beery) Harmon, who was born in April1869 in Darke County. The couple divorced, having had no children, and she married second John Andress 26 January 1895 in Rockford, Mercer County, Ohio. James married second Emma E. HOOTEN circa 1897 in Nebraska. She was born in March 1880 in Indianola, Red Willow County, Nebraska and was the daughter of Andrew C. “Cass” and Marian Jeanette (Crawford) Hooten. James, Emma and a daughter were enumerated in the 1900 federal census in South Omaha, Douglas County, Nebraska and by 1910 were in San Antonio Township, Los Angeles County, California where James was foreman for a stable. In 1920 they were in Summit, San Bernardino County, California and James ran a gasoline station. By 1930 they were back in Los Angeles County in Belvedere.

145. Charles M.5 HUNT (Ralph4, Elijah3, Samuel2, Ralph1) was born in February 1868 in Monroe Township, Darke County, Ohio. He died in 1955 in Miami County, Ohio at age 87, was buried in Riverside Cemetery, Troy, Miami County.
On 24 November 1886 in Darke County he married Hettie Elvira WRIGHT, the daughter of John and Sarah (Penny) Wright. Her brother John Wesley married Charles' sister Almeda Hunt (see #142 above) and her sister Mary Elizabeth married Charles' brother Arlistus Hunt (see #141 above) Hettie was born 9 March 1869 in Miami County, and died of mitral regurgitation 6 July 1930 in Concord Township, Miami County at age 61. She was buried 9 July 1930 in Riverside Cemetery.

HUNT was born in June 1887, and married Earl MCDONALD circa 1904 in Miami County, Ohio.He was born 18 November 1883 in Xenia, Greene County, Ohio, the son of Joseph and Millie (Johns) McDonald, and died of congestive heart failure 20 October 1953 in Troy, Miami County at age 69. Earl was buried 23 October 1953 in Woodland Cemetery in Xenia. Myrtle died in 1954 at age 67 and was buried in Woodland Cemetery. The couple had children Catherine E., born 19 August 1905 and died 15 March 1906, who was buried in Woodland Cemetery; Juanita, born circa 1907; Charles Joseph, born circa 1909; and Gladys M., born circa 1912.
343 ii. Hiram W. HUNT was born 4 March 1889, and died 9 March 1962 in Darke County, Ohio at age 73. On 22 November 1909 in Miami County Hiram married Blanche L. BRADY who was born in September 1887 in Miami County, the daughter of William J. and Emma P. Brady. Hiram and Blanche had a son Richard E. born circa 1919 in Troy, Miami County.
344 iii. Harry Richard HUNT was born 14 April 1890 and died of a broken neck in a car accident 6 July 1928 in Orange Township, Shelby County, Ohio at age 38. He was buried 8 July 1928 in Riverside Cemetery, Troy, Miami County, Ohio. Harry married Florence Marie WOOLEY 8 December 1917 in Miami County. Florence was born 9 July 1892 in Sidney, Shelby County, the daughter of Job M and Adeline A. 'Addie' (Thomas) Wooley. She was married previously, possibly to a Hurst.

346 v. Commodore Dewey HUNT was born on 8 April 1898. He died of typhoid fever 30 August 1913 in Troy, Miami County, Ohio at age 15, and was buried 2 September 1913 in Riverside Cemetery in Troy.
148. Albert5 JONES (Rachel4 Hunt, Elijah3, Samuel2, Ralph1) was born 15 December 1852 in Miami County, Ohio. He died of acute gastro-enteritis 8 August 1921 in Newton Township, Miami County at age 68, and was buried 10 August 1921 in Old Ludlow Cemetery, Laura, Miami County.
Albert married 9 December 1877 in Miami County Amanda DITMER who was born 26 November 1856 in that county, the daughter of John and Lydia (Mishler) Ditmer. She died of chronic endocarditis and pulmonary edema 6 January 1933 in West Milton, Miami County at age 76, and was buried 8 January 1933 in Old Ludlow Cemetery.

Lauda married 8 June 1898 Albert B. “A.B.”JONES, the son of Harvey Hoover and Jane (Graham) Jones, who was born 14 April 1876 in Darke County, Ohio. He died of a coronary occlusion 6 March 1951 in Troy, Miami County at age 74, and was buried 9 March 1951 in Old Ludlow Cemetery. A. B. bought into the Henderson and Coppock grain elevator in Laura in Miami County and eventually bought out his partners. In 1905 additions were made to the elevator, enlarging it to a capacity of 20,000 bushels. A.B.'s brother-in-law David Lawson Mote and his son Clark bought the elevator in June 1916 and changed the name to Mote and Son. Lauda and Albert had a daughter Freda A. born in March 1900.

Rollin K.5 JONES (Rachel4 Hunt, Elijah3, Samuel2, Ralph1) was born 17 February 1855 in Miami County, Ohio, and married Armina Kathryn HAWORTH, daughter of Isaac and Mary Catharine (Graham) Haworth, 9 December 1877 in Ohio. He died of apoplexy 20 February 1919 in Monroe Township, Darke County, Ohio at age 64, and was buried 23 February 1919 in Old Ludlow Cemetery, Laura, Miami County.
Rollin operated The Rollin K. Jones General Store at the corner of Second Street and Main in Laura around 1887. He also owned a gravel pit east of Laura. In 1914 Rollin and his wife Armina donated the stone corner posts on the fence that had been erected around the Old Ludlow Cemetery grounds in April 1914. The posts had been the base of their bank barn at 405 South Main Street in Laura. A short time later a driver smashed into one of the stone posts and it was not replaced as a warning to any speeder.
Armina was born 4 October 1855 in Darke County, Ohio. She died of acute cardiac dilatation 27 September 1938 in Laura at age 82, and was buried 30 September 1938 in Old Ludlow Cemetery. In addition to the children below, Rollin and Armina had a son Harvey Harrison born 23 December 1892 and died in December 1898 at age 6.

Joseph died in April 1966 in Miami, Dade County, Florida at age 82.
351 iv. Chloe G. JONES was born in October 1883 in Ohio. She died 6 April 1970 in Darke County, Ohio at age 86, and was buried in Davids Cemetery, Kettering, Montgomery County, Ohio. On 29 May 1901 in Miami County, Chloe married Walter D. KARNS, the son of John and Mary Jane (Wells) Karns. He was born 31 March 1881 in Ohio, and died 5 April 1960 in Montgomery County at age 79.
352 v. Juva Ina JONES was born 20 March 1886 in Laura, Miami County, Ohio. In the 1910 federal census she was enumerated as a nurse at the Seventh Day Adventist Sanitarium and Seminary in Takoma Park, Montgomery County, Maryland. She married Cecil R. Pemberton, son of Aaron Ellis and Emma Eda (Hunt) Pemberton, 20 March 1912 in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio. Cecil, born 17 November 1885 in Laura, had been married previously to Frances J. Parthesius 20 April 1907 in Bucyrus, Crawford County, Ohio. They had a daughter Lucille F., born circa 1908, and a son Robert H., born circa 1910. Cecil and Juva had a daughter Wilma, born circa 1914. The family resided in Washington, District of Columbia in 1920, and in Silver Spring, Montgomery County, Maryland in 1930. Cecil died in Montgomery County in September 1967 at age 81, and Juva died there in March 1976 at age 90.
353 vi. Roscoe C. JONES was born 25 April 1887 in Laura, Miami County, Ohio, and married Ada HORNE 29 May 1914 in Cuyahoga County, Ohio. At the time of his marriage he resided in St. Louis, Missouri and his wife in Cleveland. Ada was born 10 August 1891 in Canada, the daughter of John and Martha J. (Richardson) Horne. In the 1920 federal census the couple was enumerated in Alliance, Stark County, Ohio, with son Jesse H., born circa 1917 in Illinois. Roscoe was a chemist for a steel foundry. The couple also had a daughter Ann L., born circa 1920 in Stark County. By 1930 the family resided in Yonkers, Westchester County, New York where Roscoe was an engineer for New York Central. He died 20 April 1936 at age 48. Ada died 14 November 1958 at age 67.
354 vii. Ula Glenna JONES was born 12 February 1889 in Laura, Miami County, Ohio. She died 18 March 1929 in Pleasant Hill, Miami County at age 40, and was buried 21 March 1929 in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Ula married Harvey J. COX between 1910 and 1918. He was born 16 March 1887 in Newton Township, Miami County, Ohio, and was the son of John W. and Harriet (Driver) Cox. Harvey married second Lula M. Jennings 19 April 1930 in Newton Township, Miami County. She was born 23 March 1894 in Covington, Miami County, the daughter of Michael F. and Mary Anne (Gohring) Maier. Harvey died 31 December 1940 in Piqua, Miami County, Ohio, at age 53, and was buried 2 January 1941 in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
355 viii. Golda Marie JONES was born 19 August 1890 in Laura, Miami County, Ohio, and died 24 September 1974 in Montgomery County, Ohio at age 84. She was buried in Old Ludlow Cemetery, Laura, Miami County, Ohio. On 31 December 1910 in Miami County Golda married Clarence E. SCHREEL, son of Charles and Sadie (Myers) Schreel, who was born 21 August 1886 in West Alexandria, Preble County, Ohio. The couple had no children. Clarence, a tobacco buyer, died 28 March 1940 in Dayton, Montgomery County at age 53, and was buried in Old Ludlow Cemetery.
356 ix. Jesse Isaac JONES was born 3 September 1893 in Laura, Miami County, Ohio. He served in the medical corps of the United States Army from 7 January 1918 to 4 January 1919. In 1920 he graduated from the Ohio State University College of Homeopathic Medicine and then set up practice in Iowa. It was there he married circa 1923 Irma FRANK, the daughter of Herman L. and Estella Frank, who was born in Buchanan County, Iowa in February 1895. Jesse was president of the Delaware County, Iowa Medical Society, and was medical superintendent and part owner of Jones-Clark Hospital. At some point Jesse married Genevieve BLANKENBAKER who was born in 1909 in Wapakoneta, Auglaize County, Ohio. Jesse died 28 December 1942 in Manchester, Delaware County, Iowa at age 49.
357 x. Merlin Perry JONES was born 3 February 1895 in Laura, Miami County, Ohio, and died 1 February 1963 at age 66. He married 4 October 1919 in Miami County Victoria MARKLEY, the daughter of Joseph A. and Rachel (Christian) Markley, who was born 29 January 1901. She died in October 1986 at age 85. In the 1930 federal census Merlin, Victoria and their son Forrest P. were in Columbus, Franklin County, Ohio where Merlin was an entomologist at Ohio State University. In 1942 for the WWII draft registration the family was in Arlington, Arlington County, Virginia and Merlin worked for the Department of Agriculture. Forrest was born in 1922 and died in 1987 at age 65. He, Merlin and Victoria were buried in Old Ludlow Cemetery, Laura.
358 xi. Ernest Paul JONES was born 27 July 1897 in Laura, Miami County, Ohio, and died 23 July 1955 in Charleston, Kanawha County, West Virginia at age 57. He was buried 25 July 1955 in Cunningham Memorial Park, Charleston.
Ernest, an engineer, married 17 October 1930 in Huntington, Cabell County, West Virginia Grace LONG, the daughter of James L. and Mary Lee (Holstein) Long, who was born 10 June 1897 in Kanawha County. She married first Earl Wilburn McClure, the son of Wilburn W. and Flora E. McClure, 19 September 1917 in Charleston. Earl was born 10 August 1897 in Lincoln County, West Virginia and was a bank clerk. He took his own life 9 April 1927 in Charleston at age 29. Grace died 10 November 1963 in Charleston at age 66, and was buried 12 November 1963 in Cunningham Memorial Park.

On 24 November 1883 in Miami County Mary married second Edward Elmer Elsworth STRYKER. He was born 10 July 1861 in Hunterdon County, New Jersey, the son of John and Sarah (McConnell) Stryker. The family was enumerated in Union Township, Miami County thru the 1910 federal census. By 1920 they were in Geneva Township, Jennings County, Indiana, and some time before 1930 moved to La Porte County.

SANDO who was born in July 1885 in Bloomer in that county. The daughter of John H. and Lydia Ella (Stephens) Sando, she died 10 January 1902 in Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio at age 16. Arlie married second Abbie M. NICODEMUS 3 March 1906 in Ohio. She was born 10 May 1879 in Loramie, Shelby County, Ohio, the daughter of Harrison and Polina Nicodemus, and died in February 1971 at age 91. Abbie was buried in Old Ludlow Cemetery. Arlie had no children.

She died of a cerebral hemorrhage 6 October 1949 in Arcanum, Darke County, Ohio at age 66, and was buried 9 October 1949 in Old Ludlow Cemetery, Laura, Miami County.Thomas Clyde was born 20 August 1885 in Darke County, the son of William and Ida May (Coate) Gunder. He died of a benign brain tumor 9 February 1926 in West Milton, Miami County at age 40, and was buried 11 February 1926 in Old Ludlow Cemetery. The couple had children Harriet L., born circa 1907; Lois J., born circa 1911; Dortia M.,born circa 1914; Robert D., born 3 December 1915 and died 6 August 1995 in Florida at age 80, who was buried in Old Ludlow Cemetery; and Jack, born 22 June 1919 and died 18 June 1993 at age 73, who was buried in Old Ludlow Cemetery.

She died of a bowel obstruction 19 November 1922 in Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio at age 52, and was buried 22 November 1922 in Mote Cemetery, Pitsburg, Darke County. Her headstone gives her name as M. Elma.
Elma married Ervin Alvin RICHTER 30 November 1889 in Darke County. The son of August Richter, he was born 1 September 1866 in Germany, and died 4 March 1944 in Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio at age 77. Alvin, as he was known, was buried in Mote Cemetery. His headstone gives his name as E. Alvin Richter.

He died of prostate cancer 3 August 1946 in Delphos, Allen County, Ohio at age 77, and was buried 6 August 1946 in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Delphos, Allen County, Ohio. At the time of death Albert was an employee of Delphos Bending Company.
Albert married Martha Elizabeth STUTZ 21 February 1889 in Darke County. The daughter of Frederick and Sarah (Long) Stutz, she was born 14 August 1871 in Laura, Miami County, Ohio. Albert and Martha divorced some time before 1920. In the 1910 federal census they were both enumerated in Columbus, Franklin County, Ohio but in separate residences. Actually Albert was enumerated twice; once as Albert B. Penney, head of household, married 19 years, with his son Samuel, and the second time as Albert Penny, lodger, a widower, along with son Samuel, in the home of widow Mollie Hill. In both instances he was a machinist. In the 1920 census Martha still resided in Columbus and was enumerated as divorced. With her was her youngest son Elijah, a machinist for a railroad shop. Albert in 1920 was a patient in the Toledo State Hospital in Toledo, Lucas County, Ohio. Martha remained in Columbus and died there 10 December 1949 at age 78 of bronchial pneumonia. She was buried 13 December 1949 in Union Cemetery in Columbus.

John, the son of Benjamin C. and Amanda (Riley) Harman, was born 30 October 1871 in Greenville, Darke County, Ohio. He died on 10 April 1936 in Akron, Summit County, Ohio at age 64. John married second 21 August 1897 in Darke County May Bookwalter.
Rachel had a son out of wedlock, whose father was unknown. Jesse Ora Hess was born 7 February 1886 in Darke County and married Margaret 'Maggie' ODA 14 November 1908 in that county. Maggie, the daughter of John Oda, was born in 1882 in Franklin Township, Darke County. The couple had no children, but were enumerated with an adopted daughter Helen Draving, age 8, in the 1930 federal census for Newton Township, Miami County, Ohio where Jesse was a farmer. Circa 1911 Goldie married Jacob MENGER who had been married previously 22 June 1899 in Montgomery County to Lena Winkler. Jacob was born 23 September 1863 in Dayton, Montgomery County to George and Elizabeth Menger. Goldie and Jacob had children Henrietta, born circa 1912; George Joseph, born 5 May 1913 and died 18 May 1993 at age 80 in McHenry County, Illinois, who married 5 March 1941 Laura Elizabeth BELL of Peoria County, Illinois; and Robert J., born circa 1918. Goldie and Jacob divorced between 1918 and 1920 and in the 1920 federal census Goldie was enumerated in the household of Benjamin and Grace R. Cooper where she did general housework. Her children Catherine, now Catherine Menger, Henrietta, George and Robert were enumerated as boarders in the household of Walter and Eleanor Kay in Mad River Township, Montgomery County. Jacob died 28 June 1936 of coronary disease in Dayton at age 72, and was buried in Woodland Cemetery, Dayton, on 1 July 1936. Goldie married second circa 1924 Orville Shumaker, who was born 6 April 1888 in Arcanum, Darke County, the son of John P. and Susan (Shaffner) Shumaker. He married first Lottie May Spitler, the daughter of Clarence and Mattie (Siler) Spitler, 1 March 1911 in Darke County. Lottie was born 6 May 1892 and died 28 February 1922 in Greenville. Orville died of chronic myocarditis 16 April 1945 in Greenville, Darke County at age 57, and was buried 19 April 1945 in Castine Cemetery in that county. Goldie died 16 September 1966 in Greenville at age 74, and was buried in Castine Cemetery.

He was born 23 April 1870 in Sidney, Shelby County, the son of Thomas and Sidney (English) Bryan, and died 5 February 1913 at age 42 in Piqua, Miami County. Thomas was buried 6 Feburary 1913 in Forest Hill Union Cemetery, Piqua. Clara and Thomas had children William E., born in 1891; Hazel, born May 1892; Amelia, born in April 1894; Bessie, born in June 1895; Harry Jack, born 7 September 1896; Howard, born in February 1898; and Mabel, born in May 1900. He died of a gunshot wound through the abdomen 23 July 1926 in Greenville, Darke County at age 54, and was buried 25 July 1926 in Abbottsville Cemetery, Van Buren Township, Darke County. Simon was a policeman at the time of death. It is not known if his gunshot wound was in the line of service.
Simon married Ida LONG 24 September 1892 in Darke County. Ida, born 2 November 1864 in Ohio, was the daughter of Jackson and Mary (Candle) Long and married first 3 March 1883 in Darke County Samuel Shields. The couple had a son Sylvan Sylvester Shields, born 31 August 1884 and died in December 1963 at age 79; and a daughter Mazy Shields, born in April 1891. A newspaper article dated 15 March 1906 stated that Simon's wife Ida filed a suit in the Common Pleas Court of Darke County against her husband Simon Penny to compel him to support her and their four children. The complaint said that in about May 1904 the defendant totally abandoned the plaintiff and their children and since had been living and cohabitating with Dora Shumaker [sic] in Darke County. Ida and Simon divorced and he married 19 February 1911 Dora Ann Shoemaker. She was born Dora Ann FOURMAN 14 May 1868 in Van Buren Township, Darke County, the daughter of Samuel and Lydia (Baker) Fourman. Dora married first John David Shoemaker 17 November 1888 in Delaware County, Indiana. John, the son of David Minnich and Leah (Deeter) Shoemaker, was born 16 August 1866 in that county, and died 24 September 1903 in Van Buren Township, Darke County at age 37. Dora died of cancer of the gall duct 27 May 1920 at age 52 and was buried as Dora A. Shoemaker with her first husband in Abbottsville Cemetery. John and Dora Shoemaker had children Ethel L., born in August 1889; Rayond I., born 30 September 1890; Goldie E., born in November 1891; Willis C., born in December 1892; Herman Lee, born 12 April 1894 and died 4 August 1873 at age 79; and Edna M., born in November 1895.
Simon's first wife Ida died of acute enterocolitis 1 August 1917 in Newberry Township, Miami County, Ohio at age 52, and was buried 4 August 1917 in Abbottsville Cemetery.

After William's death Millie married John Frank Strome 30 July 1910 in Miami County. Frank, as he was called, was divorced and a boarder in Millie's home before their marriage. He was born in March 1868 in Miami County, the son of Josephus and Cynthia (Hughes) Strome. Frank died 28 December 1921 at age 53 in Dayton State Hospital; cause of death general paralysis of the insane. He was buried 30 December 1921 in Forest Hill Union Cemetery, Piqua, Miami County. Millie married third George Frank Stoker 25 November 1925 in Miami County. He was born 31 July 1866 in Piqua, the son of John Enoch and Margaret (Hughes) Stoker, and was married previously 12 October 1886 to Anna Hann. George died 10 October 1931 of pneumonia in Piqua, and was buried 12 October 1931 in Forest Hill Union Cemetery. Millie died of acute myocarditis 17 November 1942 at age 72, and was buried 20 November 1942 in Forest Hill Union Cemetery.

She was born 2 April 1878 in that county, the daughter of Michael Francis and Mary Ellen (Ringer) Boyer, and died of cervical cancer 28 July 1952 in Greenville, Darke County at age 74. Catherine was buried 31 July 1952 in Stelvideo Cemetery. William and Catherine divorced some time around 1920 and she married Thomas O. Bailey who was born 28 September 1869 in Hilliard, Franklin County, Ohio, the son of George and Mary (Hewitt) Bailey. The couple and her daughter Imogene Weaver were enumerated in the 1930 census in Covington, Kenton County, Kentucky where Thomas was a railroad engineer. He died of a cerebral hemorrhage 30 Jun 1950 in Greenville at age 80, and was buried 4 July 1950 in Stelvideo Cemetery.

She died 28 December 2001 in Piqua, Miami County at age 89, and was buried in Forest Hill Cemetery. Clifford was born 31 March 1908 in Piqua, the son of William and Laura Banning. He died 9 February 1990 in that city at age 81, and was buried in Forest Hill Cemetery.
570 ii. Betty Ann BABCOCK was born 28 February 1917. She died 30 March 1996 at age 79 in Coshocton, Coshocton County, Ohio. Betty married 9 April 1951 in Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio Clarence WILLIAMS who was born 24 September 1899 and died 19 June 1971 in Troy, Miami County, Ohio at age 71. Both were buried in Miami Memorial Park Cemetery, Covington, Miami County.

571 i. Mary Jane6 GOENS was born 3 January 1919. She died 11 May 2000 in Ohio at age 81, and was buried in Memory Gardens, Coshocton, Coschocton County, Ohio. Mary married Gloster E. MYERS 26 March 1946. He was born 26 May 1917 in Newcomerstown, Tuscarawas County, Ohio, and died 12 June 1989 in Coshocton at age 72. Gloster was buried in Memory Gardens Memory Gardens.
572 ii. Alice Faye GOENS was born 27 January 1920, and died 20 February 2009 in Anchorage, Anchorage County, Alaska at age 89. She was buried in Fort Richardson National Cemetery, Anchorage. Alice married Herschel Charles ELKINS 27 June 1944 in Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio. He was born 22 October 1919 in West Jersey Township, Stark County, Illinois, the son of McClellan and Celia (Reeves) Elkins, and died 9 November 2002 in Anchorage at age 83. Herschel was buried in Fort Richardson National Cemetery.
573 iii. Dorothy Maxine GOENS was born 12 February 1921, and died 23 April 2007 in Covington, Miami County, Ohio at age 86. She was buried in Miami Memorial Park in Covington. Dorothy married first Charles Edward SMITH 15 January 1941 in Mexico. Charles was born 11 June 1890 in Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio, the son of Albertus and Catharine (Baggott) Smith, and died in October 1954 at age 64. Dorothy married second Paul Emerson RICE 15 January 1956 in Springfield, Clark County, Ohio. He was born in 1918, the son of Clarence Edwin and Bessie Lova (Rapp Fletcher) Rice, and died 3 October 1961 in Dayton at age 43. Paul was buried in Miami Memorial Park.
574 iv. Robert Raymond GOENS was born 9 February 1922. He died 17 February 2007 in South Carolina at age 85, and was buried in Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola, Escambia County, Florida. Robert married Margaret PATON in Dumbarton, Scotland 7 AprIL 1945. She was born 17 June 1923 and died 22 September 2003 in South Carolina at age 80.. Robert retired from the United States Navy in 1966 in Pensacola where he resided for 37 years. While serving in the Navy, Robert was involved in numerous battles and received numerous awards. He served on the USS Hull DD350 during the attacks on Pearl Harbor. He also fought in the Invasion of Normandy, the Cuban Missile Crisis, the Korean War and Vietnam War. His medals received during his service in the U.S. Navy include the American Defense Service Medal, American Campaign Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal, Navy Occupational Service Medal and the National Defense Service Medal. Robert was a lifetime member of the Fleet Reserve Association and the Pearl Harbor Survivors.

He died 13 August 1981 in Loma Linda, San Bernardino County, California at age 57, and was buried in Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside County, California. David married 16 August 1952 in Long Beach, California Margaret Patricia GERBRACH who was born 30 October 1926 and died 21 September 2005 at age 78. She was buried in Riverside National Cemetery. The couple resided in Yucaipa, San Bernardino County.
576 vi. Sylvester GOENS was born 10 March 1926. He died 8 August 1995 in Port Isabell, Cameron County, Texas at age 69. Sylvester married[--?--] PENA.
577 vii. Lawrence Earl GOENS was born 25 March 1928, and died 25 January 2002 in Sierra Vista, Cochise County, Arizona at age 73. He married Yasuko NAKAMURA.
